Christine is one of the founding members of “ Xenophon Classical Riding “ and is giving demonstrations of the work her trainer Georg Wahl taught her over the decades, with the aim to promote a return to fundamental principles of classical equestrianism.
Her Olympic medals were an individual gold and team silver in 1976, a team silver in 1984, and team silver and individual bronze in 1988. She was equally successful at the World Championships, winning the individual championship in 1978 and silvers in 1982 and 1986. She also earned team medals at the Worlds in 1974, 1978, 1982, and 1986. At the European Championships, Christine Stückelberger claimed six team medals between 1973 and 1987, and five individual medals, including golds in 1975 and 1977.
